Mr. Hulick is CEO, CCO and Managing Partner of Holly Street Wealth Advisors. He is the founding partner of Hulick Capital Management, LLC. the parent company of both Holly Street Wealth Advisors and Strategy Asset Managers, LLC. Mr. Hulick worked for 25 years as a senior wealth advisor and investment manager for some of the largest financial and investment firms in the world. He is an active member of the Tulane University Fund Advisory Board and serves on the board of the WildlifeNOW-Tony Fitzjohn George Adamson African Wildlife Preservation Trust. Mr. Hulick is a supporter and past advisory board member of the Rose Bowl Aquatic Center in Pasadena, California. He has been a member of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses volunteers since 2007. Mr. Hulick received a BA in Political Science from Tulane University and his MBA from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business. He is also a graduate of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Aresty Institute of Executive Education, Senior Consultant’s Program, through which he received the designation of Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA). In his spare time, he is an active age group triathlete and has competed in five Ironman distance events including the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii in 2009 and 2015.

Brian Kelly co-founded the prestigious firm Kelly Haft Financial with the vision of providing insightful financial expertise with a personal touch. Brian is a graduate of the highly prestigious Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He attended UCLA School of Law where he earned a law degree and previously practiced at the firm Allen, Matkins, Leck, Gamble and Mallory.
Brian has extensive expertise in private equity; particularly in media, consumer products and the financial service categories.
His diverse business background, ranging from operational experience to highly complex financial analytic modeling and his intense understanding of balance sheets and financial statements provides the firm with a measured perspective to navigate the complex public and private financial.
Ken is a Managing Director with Holly Street Wealth Advisors. He is a licensed financial advisor with more than 29 years of experience and the author of 7 books including Life On Your Terms, Not Your Father’s Retirement and A Tale of Two Retirements. Ken is the also the CEO of Mahoney Asset Management where he offers clients tailored retirement solutions. Using data provided by the leading financial research companies, Morningstar and Standard & Poor’s, Mahoney Asset Management provides detailed performance analysis and investment recommendations for goals like preparing to leave your job, purchasing a second home, or planning for retirement.
Because of Ken’s comprehensive financial expertise, he is a weekly Guest Financial Contributor for Fox Business and has appeared on ABC and The Today Show to speak on topics such as planning for retirement and stock market investment strategies. David J. Chong is a Managing Director with Holly Street Wealth Advisors. He has over 20 years of private wealth management and portfolio management experience serving high net worth individuals, families, and institutions. He previously worked as a Vice President, Investments for Wells Fargo Advisors and Morgan Stanley. David completed his studies at University of California Irvine with a BA degree in Economics and Biology.
Harold Parker, CMT
Harold joined Holly Street in 2016. Harold has been an investment professional since 1978 when he began his career at E F Hutton. He joined Dorsey Wright and Associates (now a division of NASDAQ) in 1994 as a Sr. Portfolio Manager.
Harold’s extensive and varied experience in customer service and portfolio management puts him in a unique position to assist his clients in all phases of the wealth management process.
Harold is a Chartered Market Technician and has authored several papers on the subject of technical analysis of securities.

Alexander Hagstrom, CFA
Senior Analyst and Portfolio Strategist
Alexander Hagstrom is a Senior Analyst and Portfolio Strategist with Holly Street Wealth Advisors. He attended the University of Southern California and obtained a degree in History with a minor in International Relations. He went on to earn the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation. He enjoys playing Tennis and was the #1 ranked junior player in New Mexico and 5A High School State Tennis Champion. He earned his MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas as a Scholar with High Distinction.
Vice President, Relationship Manager
Clarissa Tawel is a Vice President, Relationship Manager with Holly Street Wealth Advisors. Clarissa also serves as the HSWA office manager for the Pasadena office. She specializes in financial analysis and client administrative services for the HSWA’s clients. Prior to joining HSWA, she was a business development and account manager for a regional CPA firm in Southern California. She received a BA in Psychology from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA. She is currently pursuing her Certified Financial Planning designation

Carl W. Hulick
Chairman of the Advisory Board
After Harvard Business School, Carl joined Dean Witter’s Los Angeles office as an account executive. That was the beginning of 50 years in the investment business, primarily with Dean Witter. He managed offices in Pasadena, Beverly Hills, and Los Angeles. He supervised the training of hundreds of account executives over the years. During the early 1980s he was appointed Executive Director of Marketing in Witter’s New York office just at the time Sears, Roebuck & Co. acquired the firm.
Subsequently, he was in charge of the project to establish financial service centers in 300 Sears stores. The strategy was mocked by the press as “Stocks and Sox; Bonds and Brassieres.” The Sears’s 1982, $770 million investment became a $3.5 billion public offering and distribution of Dean Witter stock to shareholders in 1993. In 1997, Dean Witter merged with Morgan Stanley, the investment banking firm that had managed the valuation and stock sale to the public. Carl retired from Dean Witter, Morgan Stanley, Inc. in 2002 but still keeps up to date managing a few accounts for family and friends.
Carl is an active member with the Stanford Associates, Huntington Library & Gardens Associates, and The Stanford Hoover Institution Council. He is also a former chairman and board member of Hillsides, a Pasadena facility dedicated to providing a safe place for abused children.
Carl is an active Angel investor and has served on the board of several start-up companies.
